Installing ventilation system in dashboard
« on: January 06, 2022, 15:57:17 »
I have started to put back the ventilation system in the dashboard.
First I mounted the ventilator housing with new rubbers and after that I tried to put the windscreen defogger canals in place.
That wasn't possible, so I had to unscrew the ventilator house again.
Now everything is in place, so now connect the wiring again.
The connector of the ventilator is no problem, but at the right hand side there are some loose wires.
At the picture I took before parting the car, I seem to see more than two wires connected.
Can anyone tell what the function is of this connection and which (color) wires should be connected here?
Thank you in advance.

Again something else.

This is the picture of the wires I found.
More than two?

The electrical connection that has the connector with the two screws is for the wiring for the light for the glove box. Offhand I can't tell you which wires go where but I think there was a recent post on the issue. The wiring diagram in the tech manual should aid in figuring out which wires go where.  Lee

OK that makes sense!
So the glove box light must be connected in serial with the switch to these screws.
Thank you for that!
