Window Shifter Repair Kit

Perhaps you can help: what might have been Niemoeller's vision of how this clip can hold this pin? I bought window shifter overhaul set from Niemoeller, including these pins and clips for them. Original pins just had grove cut to hold the pin. How was it supposed to work here? My mechanic and his guy who has the machine shop could not figure out. They fabricated new pins as we did not want to wait to buy new ones.

Pawel,
That pin is to repair the window crank handle knob on late vehicles, not the regulator. Also the kit was generic and wasn’t specifically designed for the 113 model but rather all models of the era. I have a few of those pins leftover as well.

Not all parts are used for 113.
There is a better kit out there that comes with 4 plastic guide pieces that are needed.

In your kit this pin is only meant for the window crank - as it should be.
