Exactly. Those members embarking on any serious project (be it replacing or restoring brakes, or changing out the muffler, or any project with a defined start to finish) should consider documentation with good photos and then contributing new topics or augmenting those that are there.
Just in the time this forum has been in existence, nearly everyone has obtained a smart phone and unless you are operating some pre-historic one, most smart phones today (late model Samsung/Google phones, and most iPhones made in the past 10 years) can run circles around cameras of yesteryear, so it's so easy to do good documentation.
FYI I was reminiscing in the thread that MarkCan mentioned, as there were two contributors there who were frequent posters at the time. These were ADalton and George Davis who are no longer members...
...and speaking of members of the past, there was one named Glenn Fiscus who did come to a meeting we had in Mooresville at a cars and coffee back in the fall. Imagine my surprise the other day, when driving through Lincoln County, I see his political signs on the side of the road! How often does THAT happen to you, fellow members? Glenn was the guy who created the PUB name!
