Are the door handles interchangeable?

Looking at the two handles side by side and I can’t see any difference , I’m wanting to swap them over as whilst building up both doors I’ve noticed that the chrome on the undersides is preferable to that on the top side , if I could simply swap them over my handles would be as good as new but like all things Mercedes’ it won’t be that simple, some unique design feature will render both different you watch .

Handles themselves are the same, but the locking mechanisms and rubber pads are different.

Thanks for the confirmation Walter. I have found the doors ,with the exception of the hardtop rebuild, the hardest parts to get right and look presentable, more arts and crafts than engineering.
