HELP ON REMOVING RIGHT AXLE / SHOP MANUAL

HELLO AGAIN. I LOOKED WITHOUT ANY LUCK IN THE TECH MANUAL FOR INFORMATION ON REMOVING THE RIGHT AXLE ON A 64 230 SL. I FOUND A LOT OF INFO ON THE REAR ASSEMBLY BUT NOT AXLE REMOVAL. I APPEAR TO HAVE A LEAK AT THE BOOT THAT COVERS THE U JOINT ON THAT AXLE. I'M ASSUMING THERE IS ALSO A SEAL UNDER THERE.
ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS? I COULD USE SOME DIRECTION.
ALSO I HAVE BEEN LOOKING WITHOUT LUCK FOR A SHOP MANUAL FOR THIS CAR. I'M TOLD THAT HAYNES AND CHILTON HAVE THEM BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO LOCATE ONE FOR A 64 230 SL. I'M ALSO TOLD THERE IS ONE CALLED A BIG BLUE BOOK WHICH I'M ASSUMING IS AN ACTUAL DEALER SHOP MANUAL, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE ANY OF  THESE CAN BE ACESSED?

There are normally blue book manuals to be found on ebay, i think the 1959 book covers cars up to 1967, but you'd best check

if you cannot find the paper manual you may still be able to purchase the CD from Mercedes.

I did this job a few years back,   use the search function and you will find what you need.

I bought a set of different manuals the other day from: https://mbmanuals.com/series/113/#om

There is a section in the biggest manual on removing and re-installing the rear axle. I have little to 0 mechanical knowledge, but it looks like it provides the necessary info for someone who is capable.

Is it the boot on the swing axle that is leaking? You can fit the attached without removing the axle.
