54 And Counting
« on: September 26, 2022, 17:40:42 »
We took our car out for drive yesterday to celebrate our 54th year of ownership. Sunday the 18th was actually that day but due to a strange phenomena for us here in California, it rained, so we kept it in the garage. The car ran great and it got a fill up of some very expensive premium gasoline as a nice present. We explored our new home’s surrounding area roads and it was nice not having to worry so much about deer jumping in front of us as was the case from where we moved from. I still enjoy driving this car so much, and as long as the left (clutch) leg holds out I plan on doing so for many more years.

Happy Birthday!
Gorgeous car and a fantastic provenance. Glad to hear that I am not the only one that does not take the car out in the rain 😀

It may have rained the day before but judging from the color of the sky in your picture one would never know.  You certainly picked the right day to celebrate, John.  Happy 54th anniversary and many happy returns!

You've maintained this car in such beautiful condition!  It is a real testament of your dedication and appreciation for a finely designed and built automobile.  Congratulations on this milestone.
