Photos from Sept 18/22 Concourse d’Elegance

On September 18, 2022 the 8th Concourse d’Elegance took place on the Cobble Beach Golf Course. I shall [pst quite a few photos (photos need to be reduced in size). Only 2 Members had cars on the show field (the golf course). They are Peter Jedicke with his total restored 1965 Mercedes Benz 230 SL Pagoda and our last Membership Administrator Hugh Rawling with his newly acquired 1988 Ferrari Testarossa.

It was a great event, early in the morning at the hotel we did have some rain drops, however for the rest of the day it did clear up. This was the 8th Concourse d’Elegance at the Cobble Beach Golf Course (cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to Covit19).

I shall post 4 reduced photos from Peter and Hugh first and additional photos later once I reduced the size of those photos.

The main Sponsor of the Concourse d' Elegance event at Cobble Beach was Porsche, so there are quite a few Porsches to be seen. However, be positioned I also captured some of the butties of the 20s, to 60s, perhaps you spot a car that you once drove

Getting up the morning of the event I found my Pagoda full of rain drops, we still had a few sprinkles then the rest of the day turnout to be dry and fine.

Rob McLeese (first photo) the organizer of the event announces the winners that will drive up to the podium, some 30 plus prices were handed out for the different classes of the classic cars on the concourse. I understand there were some 300 plus entries, two entries from Hugh and Peter from the Pagoda SL Group. No price for Hugh's or Peter's car, there was simply too much Porsche competition.My pagoda was safely parked in the Club House parking lot thanks to Rob McLeese I understand he is the owner of this wonderful Cobble Beach Golf course.

All great photos but that black ‘36(?) Packard Super 8(?) roadster takes my breath away!

The art-painted Porsche and the mid-thirties Model K Lincoln Cabriolet Coupe were my favorites.  It was nice to see a selection of Pierce Arrows as well.
