Nice video, will watch more of his stuff.

It's a 280, but has hard door pockets and no head rests.  Is that the choice of a restorer, or did UK cars come that way?

Euro model.  The baggies on the door and headrests were to comply with US regulations.

I thought the video was OK but he was not as accurate as one might hope. His timing chain slack explanation left a lot to be desired.

The chain was loose but he thought it looked normal. No expert.

He has a lot of interesting cars, mainly from the 1960s and 1970s, come through his shop. All makes and models, but mainly English and Italian. Most of the videos are worth watching just to see and hear the cars.

I'm not either, but he said it tightens up when the tensioner fills with oil.

And he's wrong about that. He's thinking about a different system on a different engine. That timing chain is very loose and needs to be changed.

Isn't the internet a wonderful thing.

Yes it is.  You should leave him a message in the comments section with your information.

Why would I want to do that? I could I suppose, but he seems to have a decent following based on simply having slick looking cars at his deposal. Think he needs my help for anything? lol

Probably not, he restores some remarkable cars, some with one off history.

There are plenty of garages all around the world that specialise in "classic cars". Some will be very good at it. Only those with a very narrow speciality will know all the intimate details for their chosen speciality. If somebody talks to me about Porsche or Maserati etc I haven't got a clue what they're talking about.
There's a lot in this video that a Pagoda specialist might disagree with but there are few customers for the likes of this guy's services who would have sufficent knowledge to know the difference or indeed care to.
Suffice to say that to the uninitiated it's an interesting video which stimulates interest and that is no bad thing.

I've seen him and his shop a lot on Harry Metcalfe's channel, for Harry he mostly works on exotic Italian cars like recently his Lamborghini Countach engine and transmission rebuild:
