Spot welds
« on: June 06, 2023, 05:37:34 »
I am wondering if the number of spot welds along the front fenders under the hood, on the rear valance, and in the rear wheel wells was consistent from car to car or somewhat random? (as was the spacing of the welds)
Does anyone know the number of spot welds (or the average if no fixed number) for each of these three areas where spot welds were used.
Also I understand the spot welds came around the nose of the car. How far along do they go?
Thanks for the assistance.

Hello, this original car is a good reference which should help.  Welds look pretty random to me
