Dash cap/cover
« on: June 28, 2005, 19:16:27 »
Does anybody know of a source for a cap or cover for the dash?  A simple cloth or carpet-type cover will work. I am simply looking for something to cover a badly cracked dash - out of sight, out of mind.

Thanks in advance

You could try California Car Cover

http://www.calcarcover.com/interior_main.aspx

It appears they have several different varieties. I was going to call them to get one as a protector, but opted for a sun shade (from Griot's) and towels on the dash, held by the sun shade instead.

I got the sun shade from Griot's and I was surprised to find that it is two piece. I tried them out, and it works very neatly. You slide in one half and sneak in the other, there is a slight over lap in the center. I fits like a glove, with only a very small amount of exposure in the corners, where you could use a small towel or cloth to cover the small bit of wood showing through. The feedback card, indicated the cover was made through Covercraft Industries.
