My 230 starts perfectly cold, and in the winter starts hot not too badly, but now we have some VERY hot weather (rare in the UK I know!) the other day with the car in the sunshine it started for a second, then just cranked and cranked. (perfect spark). Seems the fuel injection system runs out of fuel and wont "prime". Suggestion is to "fiddle" the cold start unit so it will inject a fuel shot (or 2) even when hot to help it "prime"once the cold start squirt of fuel starts the engine.
So, anyone know how to do this with the cold start unit?
Alternative is that the non return valves in the injection unit need to be replaced, but the parts are like hens teeth but not as easy to find
Anyone know the part numbers?
Any suggestions very welcome!
Many thanks.
