head light assembly has wrong pins
« on: August 14, 2023, 23:37:41 »
Getting ready to install new headlights. Comparing the pins of the old and new ones and the pin position is different. I'm thinking that rearranging the pins on the plug but I'm kind of afraid of doing that, don't know which to go.

Dear Mr. Henderson

On the technical manual Posted on this forum is all the information you need to change the headlight connectors wires from US configuration to EURO configuration.

Here is the link:

https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Electrical/USLamp

They have there photos like the one shown below which tells you what goes on each pin.

Best regards

Thanks, it appears that the new lights are European types, the old lights have AJ stamped near the pins. Have to order new side lights since I have the old style.
