It will be much less difficult if you car has no Factory AC. I use a long handle 10mm box end on the bolts it has never failed. You must use a high quality wrench which is thin enough to fit the box end onto the bolts. The Snap On wrench I use fits just fine. I suspect other good makes will also fit.
Loosen all four of the 10mm bolts and remove the fan and clutch together. You can loosen the radiator side mounting bolts and move the radiator forward a bit if needed, the holes are sloted.
Yes the bolts are special with a small 10mm flange head. This diameter bolt would usually have a 13mm head.
These fan clutches are very pricey new. Six cylinder sedans of the era used the same clutch and fan blade!
To install start one of the 10mm bolts then slide the fan assembly in place, next start the other three 10mm bolts before tightening any of them down.
