Brake servo bearing pedestal
« on: March 17, 2024, 18:13:42 »
Dear All,

I removed my brake servo/booster for some cosmetic work but upon removing this and detaching the aluminium bracket from the body which had some black sealant between the bracket and body.

What I wanted to know is that is there some kind a gasket that is used between the pedestal and the body as I cannot find any information in the parts book or elsewhere.

See picture below
Should there be a gasket or something between the bracket and body

Thanks

Not always, as it seems:

A 113 431 03 80  GASKET
FROM CHASSIS 044 006619 ALSO INSTALLED ON 006572

Nothing before that chassis number, as per the parts list.

NLA at Mercedes. Indeed, not present on drawings at usual vendors' sites...
