Pagoda in 1966 Grand Prix movie
« on: October 21, 2023, 20:02:38 »
I'm sure I'm not the first to notice this, but I was surprised and delighted to see a Euro SL 230 briefly featured -- though fuzzy and in the background -- in this scene early in the 1966 movie, Grand Prix, where James Garner's character is talking with a team owner about getting back into a formula 1 car.
1970 280 SL, auto, US spec, 050 white with burgundy interior and soft top. Originally special order, white on white on white tex. Manufacturing date May 1970
2002 Mercedes C320 wagon
1989 Honda Civic wagon
1979 MG Midget, original owner

It's an addiction.  I can't watch any movie or TV show without noticing what's parked in the background.  Nice catch.
