Dear friends
For those of you who want to keep their original wiring harness in place but are concerned about its integrity, I have produced a PATCH HARNESS which solves 90% of the problems typically found on ORIGINAL w113 wiring harness.
A. T30 always hot lines. As mentioned on many previous thread’s, the charging system on pagodas running on the original wiring harness is always compromised due to the kind of cable insulation jacket used during those years.
B. T50 Starter signal. Starter selenoid cable shows also problems with its insulation jacket, but due to excessive softening.
C. BOSCH AL69X alternator ready Another need on classic pagodas is to upgrade the kind of alternator installed for a model available everywhere as AL69X which uses internal voltage regulation instead of an unreliable external unit.
All those three problems are addressed on this PATCH/UPGRADE HARNESS.
You will run this harness in parallel to the original one, cuting the lines that are no longer in use.
This harness has increased capacity:
1. Section alternator to starter in 8mm2 instead of 4 mm2
2. Section in long segment alternator to main light switch 5.3 mm2 instead of 4 mm2.
