Fender covers?
« on: July 17, 2005, 08:26:51 »
As opposed to throwing Grandma's old army blanket over the fenders when working on the engine, who's got some good, oil resistant covers that don't slide around a lot?

Hi, Ray,
I've got these which work well.
There is a smaller one without the lip that folds into the engine bay, but has a magnetic strip which holds it to the fender. I prefer this design.

Griot's Garage has something similar which I use preferentially. Soft cotton, magnets, & pockets to hold small tools etc.I also use an old bath towel under these. A quick Google will provide contact info.-JP-

Don't buy a copy when you can get the real deal!
