Putting the Heater back in....
« on: February 14, 2024, 22:50:09 »
Hi,
I am reviewing all my videos that I made while taking this whole car apart but just wanted to double check if I have the order right.  Because I might have removed them in the wrong order.

What I have back in the car already...
Gage/Speedo (I took the Tach back out and have not put it back in yet)
Heater Core is IN.
Wiper Motor and Arms are back in (Hopefully I will be able to make adjustments when I am done)
Electrical Harness, steering column nad Ignition IN (Because they were never removed)

My thoughts were.....

Heater Ducts
Heater Blower
Heater Valves
Vents Right and Left
ReUpholstered Dash Pieces on top and bottom
Windshield Wood
Speaker
Radio
Glove Box?

I am sure something is out of order there and I will probably realize it as I go... But if anyone sees a glaring error feel free to jump in.

Another thought was to do the Vents and Valves first because they seem the most complicated so maybe attach them when I have the most energy!

Thanks for any ideas.... All the Carpet is in!  Drivers see ReUpholstered... So if I can get these things in this week... Weekend drive!  Unless the rain comes again...

You've been VERY busy/productive with all this 230SL work.  Are you retired?

I wish I was retired!  I am sort of Forced Retired right now.  I am a Film Editor and although all the strikes are finally over studios have not ramp up again.  This has definitely been an awesome way pass the days!  Sounds like in the next month everything will start moving so definitely trying to get as much done before I  got back to the grind!

Any hopefully I will get a great Video out of this whole project!
