Need help on identify location of 2 wires

i have a 71 280sl and have rebuilt the motor. i am now in the process of restoring the wires for start up. i have a green coated wire that splits to make 2 connections. I believe they have some control on the throttle body idle sensor. The wire is located on the driver side but is not long enough to connect to the terminal located on the transmission.

If you have an automatic transmission, there is an idle switch on the throttle body that has two wires running to it. Those wires come from the harness on the right side, though.
A picture would help.

Is the wire in question green or green/red?

Hi,
usually the constant speed solenoid is connected to both oil pressure switches via a green/red wire that splits into two, see
https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Automatic/Start#AutomaticTransmissionWiring
but I have seen lime green wires with red line too.

That is exactly the wire I was after. Switch to switch to CSD.
