Exceedingly brief spot in obscure movie!
« on: July 29, 2024, 14:11:42 »
The movie is titled, "The Wicked Dreams of Paula Schultz". It's a madcap low-budget comedy from 1968. Curiously it features most of the "German" actors who starred in the TV sitcom "Hogan's Heroes", along with the beautiful Elke Sommer. The two-cent synopsis is that an East German star athlete pole vaults her way over the Berlin Wall, and the bumbling East Germans are trying to get her back for national pride.

Towards the end, when there's a lot of running through the fake streets of West Berlin (clearly a Hollywood set!) there's a white Pagoda parked, and it gets not even a second of screen time. In the same scenes or shortly thereafter I think there is a 190SL and a few other Mercedes...

The movie is free on Amazon Prime Video.
