instrument overhaul recommendation
« on: July 24, 2024, 20:38:14 »
I'm to the point of sending all of the instruments out for overhaul including the clock and would like to get recommendation. As for the radio that will need to go elsewhere.

Years ago, I used Palo Alto Speedometer to upgrade my original VDO clock to a quartz movement and install a new bezel.  Have been satisfied.  I have also used Becker Radio in New Jersey to service and modify the Becker radio that came with my car to make it period correct as it sits in the dash.  Have been satisfied with their work as well.

Ditto. I did the same years ago. Palo Alto did all the instrumentation, came back looking factory new. Ed Ebel at Becker supplied a period correct rebuilt radio, as mine only had a non-functional Blaupunkt Frankfurt.
