250SL cold start spray nozzle
« on: July 14, 2024, 17:47:16 »
Hi Guys,
The spray nozzle of the cold start valve is blocked and only lets out a few drops of fuel, during the start cycle.
I have tried to clear the blockage with a thin wire, as well as a sonic cleaning device.
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Regards
Chris

Anyone perhaps have a spare lying around?

Aha. I believe these are removed from their holders by pulling out with pliers?

Here's my small collection, not sure whether they are all identical, and identical to yours Chris:

Wow Cees, that is quite a selection.
I am leaving for the UK in a few days and will be there for a few weeks.
I will make contact from the UK and yes, the nozzle can be pulled off.
Please send me your e mail address and your price for one of the nozzles.
Regards
Chris

Hi Chris

I assume you have checked the online filter on the housing.

Hi Chris
I seem to remember there is a small filter in the supply inlet fitting on the cold start valve.

Good luck
