Rear End Alignment Revisited

It's been a bit long so our website recommended that I start this as a new post.  My last post has some very helpful responses on the alignment tool itself but I have a few remaining questions.
- What size tubing should be used?  (3/4" copper?)
- The question above is probably influenced by the features on the control arms that the tool has to fit over, ex. the 22 mm control arm nuts?
- Can you elaborate on that fitment?

i made one out of large diameter pvc pipe 2"

I made mine out of copper pipe. The Inside diameter of the pipe fits very nicely (no play) over the bolt. I gave the fixture to a friend. Not sure if it was 1/2 or 3/4, but you can measure the bolt and compare it to the ID of the tube.

I made mine of pvc pipes, but if you have the skill and patience - make it copper. I think pvc may come out too flexible.
