New arrival

  Well after almost 1.5 years of searching I have finally found what I have been looking for in the right location.
She is a 2 owner car, that has spend most of her life in Southern Spain and is rock solid.
All spot welds are in place the fender grooves correct and a rust free trunk floor.
All numbers match, all she needs is a new hood as the sun has faded badly and the headrests covering in correct material.
She seems to be high spec., but as I don't have the data card cannot tell how must is from the original order, but she has leather trim, tinted windows and alloy wheels.
Can the data cards still be obtained from Mercedes in Europe?
Also enclose a couple of pictures of her old stable mates!!

Yep.
Do a search on the site for Dattenblatt or data card and look for the address in Stuttgart
They will need VIn and proof of ownership and will then try sell you a "certificate". Say no and a photocopy will arrive in the post. Free of charge, I think

Now, what are the other three vehicles shown in the garage photos??

Congrats on your new addition, white with the seldom seen green leather interior.
The other cars look like a Lambo Urraco and a Singer?  The other one on jackstands is unknown to me, could be a British car.
Not that I like other cars, but do know of them while reading the classic car magazines.

Actually a MG L2 which is a rare straight 6 and the other is a 4.5 litre Bentley.

Arrgh, now back to the books and magazines for a refresher course.
I did see the distinctive lines on the Bentley and looks similiar to the blower Bentleys.  Should have seen that coming as I have the matchbox version of the blower.

Nice L2!  Here are a couple of shots of my (former) L1 Magna Salonette.  It was a stable mate of my 230SL for a time but has now gone to a MMM enthusiast in Kobe, Japan and now shares space with a PA Airline Coupe and a J2.  The first shot is my last sight of the car in the warehouse prior to being loaded into its container, the second shows it parked next to the Wilkinson L2 that took the Coupe des Alpes in the Alpine trial in 1933 (the picture was taken 60 years later!).
