Quiet, motor like sound emitting from under the antenna
« on: November 16, 2024, 18:02:00 »
So all of a sudden, I am hearing a sound from around the antenna or maybe under the fuel tank that sounds like a small motor. It starts when i turn the key but seems to not be part of hte antenna up and down. That happens only when the radio is turned on, and then it is a different sound. Any ideas?

Could be, what sound would it be making, though when the engines not on but the battery is?

Thanks for the response.

Turn on the ignition but don't start the engine, then crwal underneath the rear of the car, driver's side and you can see if it is indeed the fuel pump. If it started suddenly, it may be on its way out.
