Best way to sell my 230SL
« on: February 15, 2025, 15:33:58 »
We really love our 1966 230SL which we bought new in Albuquerque in February 1966.  I drive it when I can but it only has a little over 56,000 total actual miles.  I have a log with practically all gasoline used and things that have been done since new.  My wife and I are moving to a retirement apartment which has no place to store the car.  The 230SL has spent its entire life in New Mexico and with the dry desert climate, it has absolutely no rust, now or ever. I think this is one of the biggest selling points with this car.  Everything that has needed to be repaired or replaced has been done when it was needed so the car has not been “restored” except for a near perfect professional paint job.   I would appreciate comments on the best way to sell.

Sorry to hear you will be selling your "baby." Best wishes in retirement!
I've had success with hemmings.com
Good luck
