Gas tank bladder?

I have a 65 230 sl.  I am thinking of dropping the gas tank.  Did these tanks have bladders on the insides?

The 'Shroud of Fueling' inside the tank was a topic of discussion at Blacklick in July.  May want to tell your problem.
