Looking for a Blaupunkt Radio
« on: October 30, 2005, 12:27:02 »
Hi,
To make a long story short: a friend of mine has a classic Mercedes and the radio was not working. So i took it at my dad's place who is an old electrician to fix it. Dad fixed it, but later on threw it to the garbage because he forgot all about it and thought it was junk!!!
As you can understand i am quite desperate to find another one to replace the loss. Problem is i don't know the exact car model as I am a complete ignorant about classic cars.
From pictures i' ve looked on the Internet i am almost sure it is a 230SL model, nicknamed "Pagode", 1966 model. (A creamy coloured convertible car, if this is any help). That's all about all the information i know.
I would gladly appreciate any help about which radio model should i look for and where on the internet.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hello Dimitris,
I have several non-working era Blaupunkt Radios not working (not much use or value to me). Maybe you can get Dad to do his magic on one! Email me for pictures.
