Looks like someone tipped off ebay!  The listing is no longer there.  I've seen this happen a few times.  I'ts very possible that this type of thing happens all the time.

I found the easiest thing to do was to contact the seller while the car was on eBay the first time. It was indeed Peter Gick. He told me what he knew about the color (the # was lost as
the painter transferred the residue to another can), and offered to send me a sample. From what I could tell, the sale went down just fine for Peter. The bidder was at his home. I know no more than this, but found that ending speculation by simply asking can bring the desired answer.

Peter Glick 250SL is Trisle Green. I remember when the color came out on the 1970s models.
Sorry to see his car go , I hope the new owner will appreciate the time and care Peter put into this SL.
