Braking Dust

Some times ago I have seen on US-Internet an installation cap against braking dust on the tires. Where, I have forgotten.

This cap is put together under the rims.

Can you give me a Link where I can have a look at this cap and order?

Hello Detlef,
I think you are referring to the "Kleen-Wheels" these are thin aluminum shields with small directional vents punched into them and painted heat resistant black paint.  These are beneficial for the aluminum 'bundt-cake' wheels.
But be warned these also can cause brakes to overheat if used in heavy braking and thus warping the rotors.

MB does not recommend the use of a brake shield - they build up too much heat. I have a set of 16" on the E430 - remove the shields and notice improve braking.
