Early style dashboard screws

I need help from anyone with a 230 or early 250sl.  What type of screws are used under the front edge of the upper dash piece?  There are 2 exposed screws just above the heater controls but I forget if they are flat head, oval head in a cup washer or something else.  It's been too long since I took everything apart.  Thanks for your help.

Tom - there are 2 chrome oval-headed screws with flat (not cupped) washers on my 1965 230sl.  The pad is original, not sure if the fasteners are though...the dash has been painted so they have been off the car.
