one of my winter projects was to service my speedometer.
- palo alto in california did a service and I bought a new speedo cable and new light bulbs.
- it was possible to go through the right side (with a long arm trough the glove compartment to disamble and get everything back again.
- to fix the speedo cable at the tranny was quite difficult.
- now as I put everything back in again, the speedo pin (or do you call it needle?) doesn't move at all
- where would you start to search for errors?
- at the tranny, the other end of the cable at the instrument?
- is there any way to test?
- the milometer (milage counter) works perfect, both scales
