Cylinder wall lubrication

Just a simple questions really. :oops:  I've triede to read through various litterature and I just can't work out how the oil gets to/is thrown up onto the cylinder walls. Seems like the oil level is to low in the crankcase for it to be thrown up by the crankshaft, but I can't see any alternatives. So does anyone know how the cylinder walls are lubricated?

Ulrik,

oil is delivered under pressure to all the crankshaft bearings, and then flows out of the bearings and onto the crankshaft.  Since the crankshaft is spinning like mad, the oil is thrown off all over the place, including up into the cylinders.  And that's it!
