Great looking car.  I'd follow up with for a mechanical history.  Doesn't seem to mention a lot in the listing.

I agree, it looks good.

A couple of nit picks.. it appears to be sitting up a bit high..new springs maybe? The firewall pad has been replaced and the engine bay looks a bit tired for such a nice exterior

Thanks, Im not sure, I really wanted a 280sl but this looked so good. what do you think about the rust repaired on car . Did 230sl come with power steering, power brakes? Is the interior correct (seats). Thanks inadvance. Is there any member close to this car to take a look for a novice Thanks inadvance

The seats appear to be the original style for the model and year.

I would start with a call, to Silverstar.  See oif you can talk to the guy who did the work, ask lots of questions, talk to them about the restoration and what they encountered along the way.

Actually, the seats look like later (280SL) seats, in both the thickness of the seatbacks (thick enough to have headrests attached) and the MB-Tex pattern.  My 230SL is very close in VIN to this one, and has (original) seats with "thinner" seatbacks, along with a much smoother MB-Tex pattern.  BTW, the brake reservoir is also from a later car.

All 113s have power brakes; 230SLs were available with power steering (my first had it, my current one doesn't).  You could get most things on a 230SL that you could get on a 280SL (with some small exceptions like government-mandated safety items or a hard top rear-window defroster).

Still a very nice and pretty correct-looking car.
