Engine Critical places not so obvious?
« on: October 31, 2006, 01:13:06 »
Dear Group
I just checked and adjusted my thrust bushing for the tach drive on my m130 with a great help from the site. It was more by coincidence because of a broken tach wire that I checked the play of the bushing. Is there other similiar isssues like this that should be checked.? I have not seen in the BBB a kind of list that highlight other than bearings, cylinders and rather obvious things.
Thankful for any recommandations and hint.

Probably best to check your oil filter too. There is a ring (the subject of many posts) that is frequently missing that can cause incomplete filtering of engine oil.  The ring is available for about 2 bucks.

Best,
