Replacement Carpets - Red (222)

I have a 1967 250SL with a deep red (222) leather interior.  I need to get new replacement carpets (full set) - however, most of the places that I have checked have discontinued this color (it's a deep red, almost maroon).  The current offering is a brighter red - any suggestions to find the original color carpet sets?

Welcome to the group. I'm familiar with that dark red multi-loop. All I can say is that I'm quite positive it is still available. As you noted, many of the larger volume sources are only selling the light red today. I know GAHH doesn't have it, but perhaps you can call and ask them who they might recommend. You could also check with some of the excellent restoration shops up around where you live. They'd be able to point you in the right direction for sure.

I have a complete set of dark red/maroon carpet that I bought from Bud's Benz a while back when I had a white/dark red 69 Pagoda. These pieces were meant as replacement but I never installed them becausee I sold the car. Send me your email address and I'll photograph the pieces for you and you can decide if you want them and if they are correct for a 250SL
