A Sunday in Spring
« on: March 27, 2007, 12:58:12 »
Last Sunday afternoon it was unseasonably mild so after 4 1/2 months in storage I removed the cover, reconnected the battery, hit the starter for five seconds and vrooom!!!!!!!!!! I went for for a Sunday afternoon drive and realized I was as excited as the first day I bought the car. It's a feeling only we in the rust belt can experience.

"warm" sunny clear day here in the UK (18c) and so while the baby had his nap, I nipped into the garage, whipped off the soft top, jump started the Pagoda (no power in the garage so battery flat), swapped the car seat over and as soon as lunch was over, we did an hour on some quiet Suffolk roads

Mmmmm. That new Becker sure sounds good.... 8)

Tosh, you have not gone a treated yourself to the new Becker with the retro design have you??
Will be in Hadleigh in about 6 weeks time with mine, I will actually go to Derrick Wells to have my heat shield fitted (yes got one at last!) and then up to Wales for the Three Castles trial.
Are you anywhere near Hadleigh ?
