Pagodas a la Carte... Techno Classica 2007

The Techno Classica 2007 is to end.

My opinion: More largely, expensive however not better. One already
knew many cars from the last year. This year somewhat were offered
to fewer Pagoden. I estimate times, about 50 - 60 cars.

The prices: Much too highly. The quality: Very good cars were rare.
But there were a great many average cars for much to high prices.
Sometimes I believe, clever Dealers slowly buy up all scrap
iron - Pagodas in the USA and send them to Europe. During the Ship-
Travel its price doubles itself. That seems to be a better business,
as with Shares, 100% Profit and more in 14 days.

Thanks for the very nice photos.  It is great to see what other people have done to their W113.  I was especially interested in the tire combinations, as I am presently trying to determine which tires to buy for my own car (silver car with bundt rims).  Was the rusted out car for sale or just for show, and if was for sale how much?  

Yes, indeed, the prices are higher in Germnay once the conversion to US dollars is made.  Given that, it does not take a wise business person to buy in the US and sell in Europe.  Neverthess, I'll hold on to mine for the time being.

Detlef (or others), just curious -- what's involved in buying a car in Germany and having it shipped over here? (US). I realize this happened a lot years ago -- mine came that way in the 70s -- but wondering how easy it is now...
