Yes, I would love to see a garage full of 6.3/6.9 bits. Known as M100 cars for the millimeter size hole they make in your wallet when they break...mine is up at Neil Dubey's Star Motors in upstate NY getting the "nickel and dime" problems out of it. I got the car through Neil, it had plenty of headaches that were a surprise to both of us, and he has very decently stepped up to fix them, splitting the expense. Meanwhile, I have Neil's '67 Pontiac GTO here, which uses even more fuel than the 6.3 does...
I found a nice Pagoda out West through Roy Spencer's site; a '69 280SL, 4spd, 571H red poly with cognac leather, still owned by the original family that bought it. We are arranging payment and delivery as of now; I hope to have it late September or early October, so as not to miss the fall Pagoda-driving weather.
There is also a beige-gray 113, brown interior, that I have seen in town, maybe my favorite color for these cars, but I haven't been able to speak with the owner. A local get-together for 113 owners would be great, lots of fun and a chance for me to learn some stuff.
