many more to come wow it worked I will put together an album that shows a summary of the process again thanks to this forum it was possible and a great learning process and everyday I still check the forum 2 or 3 times there is still much to do and then maintaning this great and elegant automobile

Lookin' Good! I particularly like the rear compartment area with the wrap around panels and the shorter rear panel carpet. Mine is the same but no one seems to believe they came this way.

What's the chassis #?  Mine is 1515

mine is serial number 1207, originally delivered to an american in  Italy(in November of 63) and then brought to the US(san diego) to be specififc.

Mine also has the Chrome piece on top of the leather in the back of the soft top cover, rather then the metal piece underneath the leather, about yours.  I will be posting more pictures
