parts & repair manuals
« on: June 01, 2007, 05:30:34 »
I am starting to do some work on my "new" 230SL. I am new to the marque and I need to find some good repair manuals and part sources. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Pete

I know that you can print those manuals from the CD for garage use. If I remember right after you open the CD do a "file save as" to .txt, if it wont allow you to print from the PDF.

Pete,

Mercedes Classics has both the book and CD versions of the service manual. The book is a lot more expensive. Like previously mentioned, you can print out the material you need from the cd and never get smudges on it. For some reason I have two copies of the CD manual. If you want, I can send you one at a special discount rate of the shipping cost. It has never been opened. If you prefer, the website you can order one on from Mercedes is http://www.mbusa.com/heritage/index.do.
