Nice 5-speed for sale
« on: July 17, 2007, 19:40:17 »
I noticed Alex Dearborm has a nicely restored 5-speed for sale.  He's asking top dollar but it looks well done.

Really beautiful car!!  The underside restoration is exceptional.  The colors are exactly the same as on my '65 230SL, except that my rubber floor mats (original, I believe) are brown, not black.

What a car!

Has the valve cover been polished? Would all Italian cars have had the quite stylish small round sdemarker lights?

Really nice car!  Yes, they say it's originally Italian delivery, but it's lost it's front fender turn signals.  Also, I think these dark gray rubber floor mats are all that's available any more.  To get the right ones, you would have to search the globe to find old original correct color floor mats availble for sale.
