No, this does NOT belong in "vendor experiences" since I
don't have any direct experience with them--yet.
In the past, I've mentioned in various posts, many sources I've found for peculiar or interesting vendors, places such as Small Parts, Grainger, various fastener suppliers, etc. Others have mentioned McMaster-Carr, and other suppliers too.
Here's another I just found--MSC. They appear to be quite large and why they've never shown up on my radar screen or internet searches is beyond me. They just sent a sales flier (probably from some address list they bought) and I contacted them for a full catalog.
Wow. It's about 4" thick, printed on very thin paper--over
4,500 pages of everything--fasteners, tools, you name it. It is considerably larger and more detailed than Grainger.
They have a website and when you are looking for something interesting that would have you go to McMaster or Grainger, these guys too are worth a look before you give up.
