Repo Bosch horns

The new tenant who moved in my old building has a set of reproduction Bosch horns that sound the same as orginal. I know they are not made by Bosch but they  certainly look good. On the back is one arm mounting and you have the option of a clip mount or screw as the orginal. They seem to be the same size too, as I looked at the orginal horns in his 450SL and the after market ones in his truck. They both sound the same.

Hello Bob,

Sounds too interesting. Perhaps the inner parts are identical to our Bosch horns. Then you could use one for the other, e.g. put the old original face plate on the new ones or whatever.
Even the part numbers look like Bosch.
Do you know about availability and price?

Best,

My local Mercedes Dealer changed my horns a few weeks ago but I dont know how sound the original one. Would anybody have a sound file for that, so I could compare it with the sound of my new one!

Wasn't there a German website that had the horn "sound" when you entered the site?

First, I would request the original horns be returned.

Second, at one of the Blacklick Tech Sessions, we had all the Pagodas lined up an had car after car honk the horn.  There were many different sounds!
