Need expert Car Polishing Dallas Texas

Anyone who knows of a good person to do expert Car Polishing for my 1969 280 SL in Dallas please let me know.

I had an appointment with a local "expert" who stood me up and wont return my phone calls(guess business is just too good).

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Have you thought of doing it yourself?  I was suprised what I could do as a complete novice with my 230SL (no clear coat).  I just had these basic tools:

Me (no power buffer)
100% cotton terry cloths
Meguiers(?) wash, cleaner, polisher, and wax (all liquids)
Time (6 hours)

This may not be quite what you are looking for, but there is a great detail shop (for which I cannot remeber the name) that I have used several times with various cars.  They are located on Hillcrest just about a block north of Northwest Highway, on the west side of the street.  It is an old gas station-type place, not much to look at.

I have not taken my 113 there (I do that myself), but I can say they do a good job on other cars.
