Christmas drive
« on: December 25, 2007, 18:22:56 »
I just couldn't help myself.  A beautiful sunny day 60 mile round trip to the north side of Kauai, top down, 75 degrees, warmed her up then took her to about 95mph, muuu 8)  Winter in the tropics.

Happy Holidays to All.

Oh sure... rub it in!  I lived on the Big Island for 18 years, but now get to endure our somewhat mild winters in Texas.

Merry Christmas!

I pulled my 190 SL out of the garage so I could rig up a top hoist in the ceiling.  Does that count?  (Wisconsin)

Hi Guys,

Took Carling's top off and took her for a spin.  78 and sunny on a beautiful Christmas Day!  It's a plus that she's Santa Red...hmmmm...think we can get MB to change Signal Red's name?

Couldn't do a Christmas drive because we were out of town, but it was cold and clear on New Year's Eve so I took herself out for a sundown spin in the Pagoda.  Ran so good that we did it again on New Year's day!  Stopped at Sears Auto Center to get a new Die-Hard for the 300D and the whole shop emptied out and stood around the car on the afternoon sun.  Lovely way to close out the old and begin a new year!
