Cape Cod Pagodas
« on: January 04, 2008, 09:09:02 »
Just curious......is there anyone out there who lives on Cape Cod and would be interested in forming a rather "informal" classic MB Club on the Cape?

Just kidding. :D

Keep on Pagodaing !

Hello John,
Yes, I would be interested in an informal classic MB Club here on the Cape. I'm in South Yarmouth.
I have met a couple of owners of SL's, one in Chatham and the other in West Dennis.
I've seen about ten SL's in various states of repair at a restoration shop in Brewster and one other at a shop in Hyannis.
I think there are a few SL's on the Cape stashed away in garages that are rarely seen.
Do you have a license plate CHATAM or something like that? I saw a SL with that license plate in Chatham while driving my 280SL with the top down thru Chatham about 2 months ago and tooted my horn.
On nice weekends I take my SL over to the lighthouse in Chatham.

Hello Otto,
I do live in Chatham but that was not me. We will have to get together in the spring. Hopefully we can gather some more interest. Peter, who owns Euromotors in Brewster, may have some interested parties also.

John,

I know Peter and Euro-Classics since that's where my car sat for almost 2 years waiting for some work to be done.
If you want to get together let me know, as I said I do drive over to Chatham on nice days. In fact today looks real nice for a drive.
It may be easier to communicate via private e-mail.
