Sun visor struggle ?

I am still searching for a sun visor hinge for my early 230. If someone has a parts car RHD or LHD and would sell me this part please contact me as soon as you can!

If needs be I'll post a photo of the broken parts !

If worse comes to worse, I imagine it would be possible to have this piece made in a metalworking shop and then chromed.

I'm not so sure !

The part that is bolted to the windsheild frame is chromes, but the swinging part appears to be pressed in and then bent afterwards. This means if I chrome it first it will be hard to bend without heating it and if heated the chrome plating will be damaged. Also where it is pressed into the bracket the end of the rod is stamped into a slight dome to stop it falling back out !

I dont think it would be too easy to replicate !

Problem is it broke right on the bend and someone tried to weld it and it didn't last so there is less room to weld it again !
