Al's European Vacation

Tomorrow I will be flying to Munich to meet my wife who is already in Germany for business. We will rent a car and drive around for a week seeing the sights.
 
So what are some of the "Must See" sights of Pagoda interest?

Keep in mind that my wife will be along and she can only tolerate so much guy stuff. For example: She nixed my idea of skipping a weekend in Paris and going instead to Magny-Cours for the French Gran Prix.

Youve gotta see the Deutsches Museum,right on the river in midtown Munich. On the highway between Munich and Frankfurt is the most incredible technical museum called Sinnsheim. There you will see MANY MBs trains, cycles, planes, WWII stuff  and can enter a oncorde, Concordski etc. The coolest mens museum there is!Ive been to both a dozen times and cant wait to go again!! kb

The "Schlumpf" museum is absolutely a must-see.
Not only for mercedes but dozens of rarities such as Bugattis, racing cars...It's unique in Europe!

As well as 22 Mercedes-Benz (like 300SLR racing 1955; my favourite), 9 Mercedes and 8 Benz...

for a sombre and thought-jarring couple of hours, Dachau is scary. Amazing the inhumanity of man, and wonderful of the Germans to let it be a museum.

If you are going to Stuttgart to see the Classic center and museum then you should also go to Singlefingen to take the tour of the Mercedes factory. It's not far from Stuttgart.
I agree about the Schlumpf collection which I had a chance to see in France, it's great.
If you want some more driving from Mulhouse, France you can go back into Germany close to the Swiss border to Singen where my mother was born. There you will find the dealer with maybe the most beautiful SL (about 20 cars) collection available for sale, along with lots of other exotic cars. Close by is the Rhinefall, if all of the above is too much of a guy thing.
