rear wheel well rust panels

if you have a little bit of rust around a wheel well------do they make patch panels for small areas that can be welded in , instead of body filler

Yes, they do.

For example, K&K (http://www.kkmfg.com) makes small patch panels for the area behind the front wheel well, as well as both sides (front and back) of the rear wheel well. They also have a rear patch panel which includes the wheel arch. This of course is in addition to their complete quarter panel pieces.

At the last Blacklick meeting, I made a request with Tim Kidder (owner of K&K) to make available patch panels for the front part of the front wheel wells (all the way to underneath the headlight buckets). I'm not sure if they ever decided to make those.
